ABOUT CHEMICAL AGITATORS

How They Work

Agitators typically consist of a rotating shaft with blades, paddles, or impellers attached to it. When the shaft rotates, these components move through the liquid, creating turbulence and mixing the contents.

The movement generated by the agitator creates fluid motion within the container or vessel where the chemicals are stored. This motion helps in breaking down any clumps or aggregates and ensures uniform distribution of the chemicals throughout the mixture.

Product Benefits

Depending on the specific requirements of the mixing process and the properties of the chemicals involved, the speed and configuration of the agitator can be adjusted.

Different types of blades or impellers can be used to achieve different mixing effects, such as high shear mixing or gentle blending.

Customisable Options

Chemical agitators are designed to be compatible with a wide range of chemicals and are typically constructed from materials such as stainless steel, polypropylene, or other corrosion-resistant alloys to withstand the corrosive nature of certain chemicals.
